Office Assistant
Position Summary
​
This is a part-time contract position responsible for working with Kneehill Regional Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) staff to provide office coverage for staff vacation and programming times. This position will provide reception and office support during regular business hours.
Responsibilities include:

Phone and front counter reception

Providing information and referral to community members and allied service agencies

Assisting with the administrative functions of the FCSS program including report writing, production of advertising and marketing materials, data entry, correspondence, meeting coordination, document preparation, and other duties as directed by the Director

Serving as recording secretary as required

Social media development and coordination

Website administration and updates
Qualifications and Experience:

Strong interpersonal skills

Courteous
-
Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Knowledge of social media platforms and website administration

Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently while contributing positively to a team

Ability to flex schedule for office coverage requirements

Confidentiality
-
Experience working with the public
Requirements
-
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
-
Criminal record and Children’s Services Intervention checks
Reporting

This position will report to the Kneehill Regional FCSS Director
Details
-
A contract position for 2 ½ days per week.
-
$19.00 - $20.55/hour + 4% vacation pay
-
Days will depend on office coverage needs
